Adoption Status: We are no longer accepting applications for Frodo. He is on a medical hold.
Personality: Frodo is brand new to rescue and we are still getting to know him. So far we can say that he is a very, very busy puppy who loves to play. He also loves to snuggle and is overall a very happy, curious boy who is a great “guard dog” alerting his people to everything he sees out the window!
House training/Pee Pad Training: He is housetrained but he does eat his own poop at the moment so his foster makes sure to get him away from his business quickly!
Walks/leash training: Frodo is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He has shown that he can be reactive to other people and dogs while walking.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: So far Frodo has demonstrated that he is a bit reactive with other dogs on his walks. He is pretty good with the other dog in his foster home but he is very, very playful which can be annoying for some pups. He is learning to “read the signs” if another dog doesn’t want to play with him.
Best Home Environment: Frodo is a VERY high energy puppy who will absolutely require a home who can take him for lots of walks, ensure he is occupied with play, and will commit to take him to obedience classes and possibly even doggie daycare to help him learn his manners and socialization.
